We invite you to get comfortable and enjoy your visit. Here are just a few things you need to know about:
Arrival Time: Normally expect to arrive anytime after 4:00 PM. This gives us an opportunity to have the condo cleaned if anyone has left the morning of your arrival.
Thermostat: During the winter the thermostat is set to 60 degrees while the condo is unoccupied. When you first arrive adjust the heat gradually to the temperature you want.
Sleeper Sofa: Linens can be found in the trunk in the entrance hallway.
Hot Water Heater: The switch for the hot water heater is behind the utility room door. In the winter, you will also need to turn on the main water valve which is behind the water heater. The faucet in the guest bathroom has been opened to let air out of the pipes.
Air Conditioning: During the summer, just a couple of hours of air conditioning will usually keep it cool with the help of ceiling fans. In the winter the fans are reversed to pull the heat from the ceiling.
Fireplace: We have installed an electric fireplace that will blow a small amount of warm air into the condo. There are two switches to the right and above the fireplace. The one on the left will turn it on and off. Please turn off when not in use.
Swimming: An outdoor pool is available to you during the summer located right in the Long Bay Point condo area. An amenity pass is required. The other place you can swim is at the Owner’s Club. Be sure to bring an amenity tag with you. Passes and tags are located in ziploc bags on the condo bookshelf. Towels can be found in the bottom drawer of the dresser in the guest bedroom.
Fitness Center: The Fitness Center is open year-round and is located in the Owner’s Club. An amenitycard is all you need for a great workout.
WI_FI: Connect to the JCWIFI or Eagle Ridge wireless network. We are not part of ERI but you can purchase 2 days of coverage for $10.00 or one week for $15.00. You can also get free wi-fi at the Owners Club.
Supplies: What is where? Peering into a few drawers and cabinets should uncover most of what you need. (Only a few cabinets are locked.) We have some condiments and spices around, but if you need other things, the General Store carries loads of pretty, practical and tasty goodies.
Answering Machine: The answering machine is in the master bedroom. If you expect any calls while you are out, push the “on” button. This will enable you to retrieve your messages when you return. Please remember to delete your messages.
